Cash for Junk Cars

in Maryland

So you’ve got a car you want gone. Maybe it’s been parked behind the garage for two winters, maybe it just died on 95 last month and towing it home cost more than it’s worth to fix. Either way, we buy it. We’ve been doing this in Maryland long enough to know that “worthless” and “won’t start” aren’t the same thing, and a lot of cars people write off still have real cash sitting in them.

We look at the actual vehicle in front of us before we say a number. Not a script, not a guess pulled out of thin air.

A Little About How We Work

We’ve picked up cars from basically every corner of Maryland at this point, driveways in Baltimore County, farm properties out past Frederick, apartment lots in Silver Spring. Along the way we’ve dealt with messy titles, cars with liens still on them, vehicles that got left behind by a previous owner. So when something unusual comes up with your car, chances are we’ve already handled it once before and know what to do.

Here's What Actually Happens When You Call

You tell us what you’ve got. Year, make, model, and just be honest about the condition, doesn’t matter if it’s rough. We take that and give you a number, most of the time within the same conversation. If you’re good with it, we set a pickup day. Show up, hand you the cash, load the car, gone.

We don’t tack on a towing charge afterward. We don’t “adjust” the price once we get there unless the car turns out to be different from what you described.

Vehicles We Take

Basically anything on four wheels that a Maryland owner doesn’t want anymore:

  • Junk cars, scrap vehicles
  • Cars that got wrecked or hit
  • Anything with flood or fire damage
  • High mileage cars, 200k and up
  • Blown engines, dead transmissions
  • Cars that haven’t run in years
  • Trucks, SUVs, minivans, cargo vans
  • Fleet or work vehicles
  • Hybrids, EVs

Old doesn’t mean worthless. We’ve bought cars that sat for close to a decade and still walked away paying the owner something, because parts get pulled, metal still has weight value, and none of that disappears just because the engine won’t turn over anymore.

Where the Number Comes From

Scrap prices move. Parts demand moves. So the number we give you is based on what things are actually worth right now in Maryland, not last year’s rate. That’s part of why our offers tend to be higher than what a random Craigslist buyer would throw at you, we’re not lowballing off old numbers.

We Also Buy Cars That Aren’t Junk

If your car actually runs fine and you just want out of it, or you’re about to buy something newer and don’t want to deal with a dealer trade-in, we’ll still make an offer. Doesn’t have to be a wreck for us to be interested.

No Title? Don’t Assume That’s the End of It

This comes up more than people think. Maryland has rules around selling without a title, but a missing title usually isn’t a dead end, it just means a bit more paperwork depending on how you came to own the vehicle. Call first before you decide it can’t be sold.

We Come to You

Doesn’t matter where the car’s sitting, your house, a repair shop that’s been storing it for six months, or the parking lot at work. We show up and tow it for free either way.

If You’re About to Buy a Different Car

Selling the old one to us first means you’ve got cash before you walk into a dealership, instead of hoping their trade-in number doesn’t lowball you.

Why People Keep Choosing Us

Real numbers based on current pricing, not guesswork. Towing’s free every time. You get paid the same day, not weeks later. Nothing hidden in fine print. We work around whatever schedule you’ve got. And we’ve been doing this across Maryland long enough that the weird situations don’t throw us off.

Ready to Get an Offer?

Reach out and tell us about the car. We’ll get back with a real number, no pressure to accept it. Say yes and we’ll handle the rest.

FAQs

What if the car doesn’t run at all, is it even worth anything?

Usually yes. Non-running cars still have scrap and parts value, so the number won’t be zero just because it won’t start.

Do I have to be there in person for pickup?

Not always. If someone else has authority to release the car, or you’ve set it up with us ahead of time, we can work with that.

What paperwork do I actually need besides the title?

ID at minimum. If the title’s not in your name, we’ll tell you what proof works once we know the situation.

Can the price change once your guy shows up?

Only if the car’s different from what you told us. If it matches, the number stays the same.

Why not just take it to a scrapyard myself?

You’d need your own way to get it there, which is a pain if it doesn’t run. We tow it for free instead.

Got two or three cars to get rid of at once, can you handle that?

Yeah, it happens more than you’d think. Let us know upfront and we’ll schedule them together.

Looking for cash for cars in Maryland? We go out. Buy vehicles from people who own them all over the state. When we do this we make sure to give them a price for their vehicle. This price is based on what kind of shape the vehicle’s in and what it is worth, on the market right now.

You do not have to tell people about your vehicle for sale, talk to people who want to buy it or use your money to fix your vehicle.
