Usually yes. Non-running cars still have scrap and parts value, so the number won’t be zero just because it won’t start.

Do I have to be there in person for pickup? 

Not always. If someone else has authority to release the car, or you’ve set it up with us ahead of time, we can work with that.

What paperwork do I actually need besides the title? 

ID at minimum. If the title’s not in your name, we’ll tell you what proof works once we know the situation.

Can the price change once your guy shows up? 

Only if the car’s different from what you told us. If it matches, the number stays the same.

Why not just take it to a scrapyard myself? 

You’d need your own way to get it there, which is a pain if it doesn’t run. We tow it for free instead.
